I have a MACKIE SR32-4 mixer and a M-Audio FastTrack Ultra 8R interface   and I am useing Cubase 5 for my DAW  as far as connections I have a TRS snake  8 in 8 out    and I'am not sure of the proper way to connect them up  I want to be able to record  a friend tryed connecting the fasttrack to the mixer  and when I record I'am not getting a signal the setup now  is  8 from the input of the fasttrack  to 4 are plugged into the AUX sends  and 4 are plugged into the Sub outsthen another 2 are plugged into channel 32  please help

With fast track you are unable to record 8 signals at once - you can record 2 main ones and two digital ones (designed to bring in a track thats on a Cd or something like that)

wih the Fast Track Ulta 8 R you sure can record 8 simutainusly  its  8X8  I/O  sure wish I could find an answer
