sab:
NS-10m's for near and JBL 4410a's for near to mid field monitoring. I also have a set of RCA single driver speakers that I use for mono, similar to a set of auratones. I also use a set of cheep boom box speakers, a set of Polk audio Monitor 5 speakers and a set of KOSS CM series speakers, all to check my mix on a different set of speakers. I use a switch box control all of them.

pyrael:
I use my 1000watt RCA Home theater reciever. Mostly the stereo setting and the "studio" setting ;D

A pair of Optimus Nova71's that I nabbed for $2 at the local Salvation Army Store.

And My car stereo and the crappy CD player at work. If it sounds good on all that, I get opinions from those with the "good Stuff"  ;D

FLIPP0P0TAMUS:
I use whatever I pull outta my box. I have a set of home theater speakers that i use for listening to the overall picture, a set of Sony MDRV6 that I use for individual sounds (i love them) and i have 6 or 7 other, non-branded headphones from local places, and a set of ipod earbuds.

I do all these so i know my mix will osund good no matter how amazing or crappy your headphones/speakers are.

SafeandSound Mastering:
My current monitoring for mastering purposes are the PMC IB1S and I also have a pair of Dynaudio Acoustic BM6P.

The IB1's give great insight into a mix and the BM6P are a great companion as I have used and liked using the speakers for
the best part of my audio engineering life so they give me a familiar presentation which I and very used to.

I prefer the acoustic conditions to be "deader" than many as I worked a great deal in broadcasting studios which had
a fairly tight and dead sound.

cheers
