What I liked:
I really think this unit would be a good addition to your aux system. For everything you get in it, it's a steal. I leave mine permenantly plugged into auxes 5/6 and never use it for anything else. Of course, it could be a great processor for guitars or quick vocals when playing in a live setting. The controls are easy to use because of the faders, and it isnt complicated. I also like the tap tempo button which allows me to get the correct amount of delay in just a second or two. The book is kind of involved for such a small unit, but covers the topics well. All of the reverbs and delays sound great, and a lot of the presets are amazing. This unit is also pretty small so it stays out of the way. It has the same processor that the Midiverb 4 has, which is also a good unit. I am especially impressed with the reverbs since, like I mentioned, they all sound so lush and spacious. As with the Quadraverb II, there really isnt a room that you cant create on the
What I didn't:
The tap tempo delay button is a little slow, meaning once you use it to set a tempo, it will be a little off, so you have to adjust for that in your tapping. Once you get that down, it's easy money.
User Tips:
I got this thing when Alesis was discontinuing the line and wanted to sell them all for only $100. Great price since they used to be $400. Hopefully you can find one on E-Bay or Digibid.com.
