What I liked:
Very pleasing, wide range of sounds - from gentle compression on stereo mix to slammin' compression on bass. Although the controls are unique to Joe Meek products, once understood, they provide good control of all features and the range of compression.
What I didn't:
My only two complaints so far (one month) are the use of slightly lower grade hardware than the original SC2 and the lack of a second VU meter for L/R metering.
User Tips:
Take some time to experiment with this unit. Unlike say a DBX 160, which I use the exact same way every time, this unit begs for radical new applications. Just don't get so into it that you never turn it off. (unless you want to sound like half of today's hits!)
