Features:
30 watts solid state pre-amp stage (still uses a tube though?) tube power amp stage duel channel Mine came with the 2x12 slanted cabinet. They were also availabe with a 4x10.
Technical Specifications:
What I liked:
Classic Marshall crunch. 30 watts means you can open it up all the way and get your tone without setting off any earthquake alarms. This is a great recording amp and that's why I'm reviewing it here.
What I didn't:
The clean channel requires quite a bit of tweeking and is a little thin. I'm going to try fronting mine with an ART Tube MP and see if that helps. The dirty tone is classic marshall and not much else. If you're looking for versatility, get something else. (roland jc 120 in my case).
User Tips:
These can be found for cheap. And because they're a head/cabinet, you can try different cabs to find out what works best for you. I've heard using a standard marshall 4x12 does wonders.
