This mic sound great on any percussive instrument I tried, and shows a very rugged construction. It is powered by an internal battery, charged by a standard 48V pahntom power source, that gives the mic a power reserve to handle high SPLs, and can let the mic to be operated without a phantom power supply for some h

While it sounds rather detailed, it is not always too faithful to the source. My voice is ok with it, but I tried flute, acoustic guitar and environment noises, and it performed only averag
User Tips:
Take a pair for the bass drum. It's the best mic I know for this kind of source.
